"I did hit a rolling puck, didn't get a whole lot on it," [Jason Jaffray] said after his team-leading 12th goal of the season. "(Brad) Moran made a nice play at the blue-line and said he didn't see me coming. I had the speed coming through the middle and picked it up off his stick.

"The goalie (Crunch's Ty Conklin) had been making big saves all night and I was just trying to find a hole. I was shooting five-hole but maybe the defenceman slashed my stick, I don't know, but I didn't get a whole lot on it."

"From the fight to the chances and battles, well, he's been doing that most of the year and that's why he's got 12 goals, because he sticks his nose in and plays in the tough areas," [Scott Arniel] said. "He's been a constant for us."
