"We're not at that point. Nobody in the division is at that point yet. Ideally, you'd like to play at that clip, but right now, a little better than .500 and you should be OK," [Rick Forney] said. "I haven't really looked at the schedule too much, other than knowing I wanted to leave Winnipeg at 3-1 rather than the 2-2 we are. We would have had a little more momentum and Fargo wouldn't have had any. But it didn't work out that way for us. I know the next 10 days are pretty important. You have to win six or seven of those."

"I thought he did pretty well. His pitch count got driven up a bit in the third and fourth and I probably could have sent him back out for the fifth, but I didn't want to risk it. We'll build his pitch count up and maybe the next time it'll be five or six innings. The first couple of innings he got ahead of people and was able to put them away," Forney said. "He got his fastball up around 90 and I think he's going to be a power pitcher at this level. He has a good change-up and a good breaking ball as well."
