GOLDEYES second baseman Antoin Gray will miss Friday's and Saturday's games in Kansas City as he has received permission to head home to Hattiesburg, Miss., to be best man in the wedding of his cousin Andre Poole, who is also his best friend. Gray said he'll rejoin the team in Kansas City for Sunday's game.

"He's the best pitcher in the league. I've felt that for the last two-and-a-half years. He's got good stuff, he's consistent, he has a plan and he's professional out there. He's tough," Goldeyes manager Rick Forney said.
