After two failed attempts to revitalize the Alexander Docks, CentreVenture has placed the riverfront property back on the block. Winnipeg's downtown development agency is talking to two separate groups about buying the long-vacant sliver of land along the Red River and creating some form of development to bridge the gap between the new condominiums on Waterfront Drive and the reawakening residential neighbourhood of South Point Douglas.
"We didn't pursue anything until the senator formally withdrew his application.
