CANADIAN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT, 1999

Order 2008-87-01-01 Amending the Domestic Substances List Whereas the substances set out in this Order are on the Domestic Substances List;

Whereas the Ministers of the Environment and of Health have conducted a screening assessment on those substances under section 74 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 and are satisfied that these substances are persistent and bioaccumulative in accordance with the Persistance and Bioaccumulation Regulations and are inherently toxic to non-human organisms;

And whereas the Ministers have identified no manufacture or importation activity by any person for the substances above 100 kg per calendar year;

Therefore, the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to subsection 87(3) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, hereby makes the annexed Order 2008-87-01-01 Amending the...
