Jean Ballingall, whose daughter Helen Bergen was killed in a Dec. 20 fire that destroyed her family home, said she's willing to give many of the items donated to her daughter's family to the family of Beatrice Harper, whose West End home was destroyed in a fire Saturday.
"They received more clothes than they could ever use," Ballingall said of the donations that poured in to help her daughter's family. "The items were given to help the girls and we wanted to give them to someone who really needs them."Harper remains in hospital.
