"We play a mix of classical, Celtic, medieval, Latin and, of course, Christmas music," said harpist [Janelle Nadeau] in a telephone interview from her home in Vancouver. "But they're not your stereotypical Christmas carols. There's a beautiful ambience and different twist to the music that kind of re-sparks your energy in listening."
"We don't begin onstage," explained Nadeau. "We start at the back of the hall and walk through the crowd holding lanterns, mimicking Christmas carollers."Nadeau looks forward to returning to Winnipeg next month. "Manitoba is home," she admits.
