If city administration could get the fire hall built for the same per-square-foot cost as Surrey, B.C., as reported in its media release at $313, then we would save $1.62 million on that project alone ($367 minus $313 equals $54/sq.ft. multiplied by 30,000 sq.ft. equals $1.62 million).
