These homeowners and renters object to having to cut the city's grass in their part of the metropolis. And so they should. City grass should be city grass regardless of where it grows. But if the city will not take all responsibility for its grass, wherever that grass grows, perhaps it should in logic take no responsibility at all. Homeowners, if they are going to be required by law to take care of, cut and nurture the grass that grows on the publicly owned and operated boulevards, should, in logic, be allowed some say in how that boulevard should, might, could look.
