Winnipeg Adult Education Centre's off campus program, River Osborne, offers grade 12 classes to students who are residents of Manitoba, free of charge. Do you want to upgrade or graduate? Fall classes: English Comprehensive 40S, English Transactional 40S, Consumer Math 40S, Biology 40S, World Issues 40S, and Seminar in Business 40S. This site, located at Confusion Corner, also offers PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) for adults who may qualify to achieve credits towards their grade 12 diplomas. Students must be 18 years of age to register. We are part of the Winnipeg School Division. Register: 947-1674 or 477-0164.
Opportunities for Employment Inc. (OFE) provides free training and job search assistance to eligible social assistance (Employment and Income Assistance) recipients. OFE invites job seekers to attend an information session to learn about free job placement and training opportunities.
