Glenn Karr, past-president of EO -- or Entrepreneurs Organization -- in Winnipeg, said its goal is to grow its current number of members from 50 to 100 by 2011. Karr, who spends his days as president of Superblinds & Draperies, said there are a number of ways entrepreneurs can benefit from EO. There's peer-to-peer learning, confidential monthly forums of eight to 10 entrepreneurs and high-quality guest speakers who are brought in from around the world.
"Entrepreneurs have different sets of problems than people with day-to-day jobs. They're responsible for finances, employees and strategy. As an owner in an enterprise, you're responsible for everything," Karr said in an interview."They look at you and say, 'you've got a great job and you make lots of money.' They don't understand you have quite a bit of pressure," he said.See the full content of this document
