"We haven't officially been served yet, but we're aware of the case," said WRHA spokesperson Heidi Graham yesterday. Graham said the incident has been labelled a "critical clinical occurrence" and is currently under review.

The statement of claim says some doctors asked for an urgent MRI for Law, but she didn't get one immediately because of miscommunication and because she wasn't considered a top priority.After a few days of pain, "I was in really bad shape," said Law. "I was screaming. My every step was agony." Eventually she was admitted to the hospital, said Law, but it was another few days until she got an MRI. The MRI was nine days after her epidural.
