"You don't see it, it's out of the way, and it blends with the rest of the house," he says, adding that the area is used to groom the dogs once weekly. "We bring the dogs through the garage and straight in. If it's rainy out and they do get mud on their feet, we bring them in, wash them and towel them off -- and the half door keeps them from feeling isolated. There's never any mess to deal with. That means everyone is happy."
