Summary
Goldeyes second baseman Antoin Gray was hit in the head by a Rick Hummel pitch in the top of the seventh inning last night. Gray was protected by his batting helmet and was able to trot down to first after a short chat with trainer Cam McGhee. For the record, Hummel hit the next batter, Trino Aguilar, on the shoulder.
The Goldeyes were able to rap out 20 hits, including a pair of homers from Colin Roberson as well as taking advantage of seven T-Bones errors to run their record to 8-10.
