The RedHawks were the league's best team in the regular season, compiling a 63-33 mark while winning both halves in the West Division. The Goldeyes were the league's second-best club with a 52-44 mark and arrive in the playoffs with a wild card as a passport. The season series between the two clubs was much closer, however, with Fargo winning 10 of 19 meetings.
