"I don't think the time frame is one to two games, either," [Don Baizley] said last week. "I think he needs more than that. One of the practical difficulties is that, after all [Peter Forsberg] has been through, I really don't think Peter will be confident about his future until after the season is over.

"He wants to know about the foot," Forsberg said. "I'd like to tell him it's solved, but it isn't. ... It's only about the foot. Everything else comes second. I think it will sort itself out if I begin to play well."

"With the injury situation the way it is, I doubt the Flyers could get the goalie or the top prospect unless (Forsberg) was healthy," the scout said. "It's too much of a gamble given his health. But the one thing about Forsberg is that he still has a passion to play. You can see that. They can move him for something."
