My comments in Abbotsford echoed those of [Amed Naqvi] and Praveen, as I cited the recent report of the BC Competition Council, which recommended that BC's general corporate tax rate not exceed Alberta's by more than 25%. The Institute's recommendation was that BC's general corporate tax rate be lowered to 10% in anticipation of Alberta's pending tax rate reduction.
