[MELISSA Scully]'s father was the only person who matched Scully's Type O blood, but couldn't donate because of his diabetes and high cholesterol.

"I'll be able to wear any shoes I want," she said, pointing to the excess fluid around her ankles. "Because of the (transplant) I'll have ankles for my wedding day."

"I'll have more pain than her," she said. "She'll wake up feeling great, wanting a beer."
