Bomber QB's status uncertain; CFL to review [Agustin Barrenechea]'s foul

"He's still a little bit groggy so it'll be a day-to-day thing," said head coach Doug Berry. "We'll see how he is by Tuesday (when the Bombers return to the practice field). Fortunately, we've got an eight-day week (Friday to Saturday games) and so maybe he'll be ready."

"My opinion is it was a late hit that was helmet-to-helmet to our quarterback," said Berry. "One thing we're trying to do in the CFL, and I caution our guys all the time, is we can't do that to the quarterback. Everybody knows that the quarterback is 'The Man' in this league. What we try to do as a rules committee is establish rules that protect the quarterbacks. That's the bottom line -- we have to protect our quarterbacks in the CFL.
