Canadian Government Again Proposes Amendments to the Copyright Act
On June 2, 2010, Industry Minister Tony Clement tabled Bill C-32 entitled An Act to Amend the Copyright Act, which may also be referred to as the Copyright Modernization Act. Bill C-32 represents the Conservative government's latest attempt to implement revisions to the Copyright Act.
