Representatives from Habitat for Humanity, the Brandon Friendship Centre and the Canadian Mental Health Association each spoke passionately against one of the six proposals that would see New Era school transformed into the city's first all-French school at last night's school board meeting. Finding a solution to burgeoning enrolment numbers at schools like New Era is going to need some creative planning from the division's facilities and transportation committee before the milieu debate can move forward.
