Charleswood and St. James Assiniboia residents who are 55+ are being asked to participate in a new research program, Focus on Falls Prevention, a vision care service sponsored by Manitoba Health, WRHA, St. James-Assiniboia Senior Centre, Misericordia Health Centre, Misericordia Foundation and the Optometrist Association of Manitoba. Free eye examinations will be given at the St. James-Assiniboia Senior Centre, 2109 Portage Ave. at Duffield. Interested seniors are requested to make an appointment by calling 987-8850. These examinations will consist of vision screening, fully dilated optometry examination and glaucoma testing.
