Val Cousineau, president of Transcona Trails, said the litterbugs are making a mess of areas near Tall Grass Prairie Park, the Transcona Community Bioreserve and a two-kilometre stretch of trail between the two green spaces set to officially open this weekend.
"The hill used to be a garbage dump... people either still think they can dump there, or they're just plain lazy," said Cousineau. "It's selfish and inconsiderate."We would like people out walking more," she said.
