"I want to become an RCMP officer and this is a great way to deal with stress and emotions," [Tyler Green] said. "At least I'm not out on the street. This is a controlled environment."

"(Warriors: TKO) is a bit of an experiment. They're treated just like fighters, we didn't cut them any slack. We picked (fighters) who had that genuineness to them, who spoke of trying to be role models. They'll have the experience of a lifetime," he said, noting trainers would typically have six to 12 months to get boxers ready for a fight.

"I tested her when I sparred last week. She was right up there against the ropes and she was OK with it. I thought she might cry because somebody was punching her mom. I explained it to her beforehand, 'it's something mommy does, it's a sport and mommy's OK,'" she said.
