"It is so cool to be going to Germany to compete in the worlds," says Sami Soloway, 16, during a break. "It is something I never expected. It's so amazing."

"It is growing big-time," says Boge. "So many music videos feature hip-hop dancers, so kids see it and think it's cool and want to give it a try."

"You have so much more freedom with this style of dance," he explains. "In other forms, like ballet, the focus is on very specific techniques. But hip-hop isn't like that. It's all about choreography. You can really perform the heck out of it -- and imitate your favourite video stars at the same time."\
