"We're getting a bit of attention through touring, and if we can help out other local bands, that's great," says vocalist-guitarist Liam Corcoran. "The music is fantastic. Over the past couple of years, there are so many decent bands in town. I've talked to people around and they don't think there's ever been as many bands as there are now,"

"We were able to develop slowly; there's no one pigeonholing you early on. I think it was an advantage being away from a hype centre," Corcoran says. "I'm sure if we lived in another place it wouldn't sound like this.

"We're not scared to sound like a pop band. I think we've learned around here it's OK to be a pop band... That comes from Halifax and we see ourselves as part of the chain of those pop bands like Thrush Hermit and Sloan."
