Nevertheless, even though we're talking about small numbers, those few individuals who do find themselves being shown our profession's exit door via the Institute's discipline processes (approximately three per year) can, by a few unprofessional actions, cause significant damage to the rest of us by harming the profession's reputation and weakening the public trust we've spent many years building up.
