Regulations Amending the Humanitarian Designated Classes Regulations

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsections 114(1) and (10) of the Immigration Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Humanitarian Designated Classes Regulations.

REGULATIONS AMENDING THE HUMANITARIAN DESIGNATED CLASSES REGULATIONS

AMENDMENTS

1. (1) Paragraph (a) of the definition "member of the source country class" in section 1 of the Humanitarian Designated Classes Regulations is replaced by the following:

(a) who is residing in the immigrant's country of citizenship or of habitual residence, where the immigrant's country of citizenship or of habitual residence is a source country set out in the schedule;
