Dear Curious: Hmm. It would seem to me that there are two parts to the question: self-perception and attraction. Many of us have either larger or smaller portions of our personalities that are feminine or masculine. So even within the sample of straight women, there's not a homogeneous standard. Same for straight men. Then if you add the attraction factor, you have permutations and combinations of all sorts of pairs: a hetero feminine man and a hetero masculine woman / a straight couple where both seem soft or testosterone fuelled.
