"We're saying we're doing a hiatus," [Jeremy Torrie] said. "There's a distinct possibility we'll shoot all our interiors before the end of the year, and then get the rest of our exteriors in the spring."

"I have not been paid a single penny out of this," Torrie said. "I've maxed out my credit card, my family has maxed out their credit cards, and their investment in it is more than $300,000 to this point, and we've not recouped a dime.

"I've seen a bit of what they've done so far and it's actually quite a bit better than I expected," [Jake MacDonald] said. "I was really quite astounded how good it was. The acting was really good and both lead characters ([Rob Schneider] and 12-year-old actress Jessica Amlee) really seem to mesh....
