We don't get to do that often in my business. We're the people who show up at your breakfast table with news of stock market crashes, airplane disasters, wars raging and the suggestion that a diet of water and rye toast will make you fat.
First, I have news from Africa. Many of you will have read last Sunday's account of my trip to Mbour, Senegal, with the students, teachers and parents from Winnipeg's Collège Jeanne-Sauvé.Afrique 2007 isn't folding its tents. The parents, teachers and some of the students who travelled to Mbour have decided to rename themselves Beyond Afrique 2007. They're going to continue to fundraise, to gather medical supplies and eyeglasses, to paint gourds for sale and to nurture their dreams for Africa.See the full content of this document
