Judge Orders Troubled Teens to Remain in Youth Centre

Summary


Crown attorney Susan Baragar opposed the teen's release based on his inability to keep appointments with probation officers and other court-mandated conditions.

"Your honour can't craft an order (he'll) obey," Baragar told court after spelling out a litany of appointments the youth had missed, causing him to violate the conditions of his release.

"He sleeps in... and that's what he's struggling with," [Jody Ostapiw] said.
