Summary


Alan Fineblit, executive director of the Law Society, said [Cameron Richard Prawdzik] "wasn't denying" the allegations and faced possible criminal charges once the internal probe was complete.

Prawdzik hadn't been suspended pending the full review of the misconduct allegations, but was told he could only practise in Manitoba under the supervision of another firm. No such employer had been found.

"This is real tragic. He was a very talented guy who had sort of embarked on law as a second career, but was apparently dealing with several personal issues," he said. Fineblit speculated that the thefts may have been done to feed Prawdzik's obvious drug habit.
