"The adrenaline for 24 hours is just going to be pumping," says [Curtis Paull]. "We don't know what to expect. It's such a world of the unknown."

If the marathon jam is successful, Paull and company are hoping to make the 24-hour concert an annual event. Though he notes that the fundraising goal is set at a "nice round figure" of $100,000, "realistically, if we get $20,000, that would be amazing."

So bring your chequebooks -- and some song requests as well. Though the bulk of the jam will consist of improv tunes and material from Pushing Daisies' three albums, Paull says they're open to any yelled cover requests -- even if they're delirious by the time they play them. "I'm thinking that the last five hours, where we come back out and play outside, anything can happen."
