Summary
If humankind is to visit Mars, as [Buzz Aldrin] suggests, I can't help but think of what torture paper carriers of the future will bear when the Winnipeg Free Press publishes a special edition on July 21, 2029. Will there be papers of three pounds of newsprint and ink for 13- year-old boys to lug around after school? Carriers are no longer kids, I think, although I haven't actually seen one in years since papers are delivered before dawn, I'm told. Will the 2029 commemorative edition be made up only of electrons and bits and bytes?
