"I can't say that I'm at all as excited about nursing as I am about Grease," says the former Miles Macdonell Collegiate student. "I'm all about this. With just nursing I don't feel fulfilled. I feel that at my age it's OK to follow my heart."

"I'm not interested in the show they're auditioning for," says [Ken Peter]. "I've hired a director for that. I'm thinking about future shows and who looks the parts and who can sing the parts. [Kristi Sawka] had the innocent face and could sing."

"I've seen it before," says [Zane Zalis]. "It's not the first time she's made a quantum leap. I'm convinced she's just begun to scratch the surface of her talent. She combines raw talent with very admirable discipline, and to top it off, she has a sweetheart personality."
