FORTY YEARS AGO Brandon city council, at its meeting last week, decided to put a price tag of $1,000 per acre plus servicing costs of about $4,000 per acre for the 21 acres of land on Richmond Avenue and 26th Street for a proposed school. Since the initial meeting, a board of directors has been selected and the group will officially be made a chapter on March 22.
