Now, before you start writing letters to the executives at the once-artistically potent Lionsgate Films, you should know this redneck comedy about a bumbling group of reservists who end up fighting the War on Terror in Mexico is actually dedicated to the "real" soldiers fighting for "freedom" in Iraq.

This accounts for the very clear separation between the U.S. military as a whole, and the characters of [Larry] (Larry the Cable Guy), [Bill Engvall] (Bill Engvall) and Everett ([DJ Qualls]) -- the three Iraq-bound slackers who end up in the middle of Mexico after their transport plane jettisons their makeshift sleeping quarters during a storm.

Whether it's the predictable tension between the three idiots and their tough-as-nails, by-the-book commanding officer (Keith David), or the "golly gee whiz I just shot up a bad guy by mistake -- hyuk hyuk" approach to maintaining order, Delta Farce tries to avoid the landmines of bad taste and political incorrectness by playing stupid.
