Allan Lyburn wasted little time getting to the A-side of the Safeway Championship Wednesday at Westman Place. While pristine, the ice was a touch slower for the first draw than past men's curling championships, Lyburn said. The scenario bears resemblance to the Brandon Berth Bonspiel final in December where the Lyburns met on swingy ice for a Safeway Championship berth.
