One of those apparent fellow officers did come forward earlier this week after reading news reports about [Roger Borsch]'s case. Cpl. Craig James, a member of his platoon who is still with the military and stationed in Alberta, is disputing what Borsch has told court.
In a brief summary of his potential evidence, James described the Bosnian tour as a "very quiet one" and says he's never heard of the alleged incident involving the rapist Borsch claims he killed.Queen's Bench Justice Nathan Nurgitz rejected the Crown's bid yesterday to have James take the witness stand on the grounds it would likely delay the trial.
