Diana Stevens has "no doubt" in her mind that she'll be involved with the Hershey Track and Field Games program for a longtime to come especially after this summer's successes at the North American finals.

"All 12 of our athletes from Manitoba placed in the top five of their events and one girl won bronze in the 1,600 metres," said Stevens, program manager of Athletics Manitoba.

"Then, it was just taking kids to the provincial final for the Hershey Games. When I got the job at Athletics Manitoba three years ago, we were looking at how to develop our grassroots program. I knew that the Hershey Games was the way to do it because it was really geared to younger aged athletes and to participating," she said, adding the games are designed for athletes ages nine to 14.
