Matamec explorations appoints new VP exploration for Ontario.

Matamec Explorations Inc. has announced the appointment of Bill MacRae as the company's vice-president, Exploration Ontario.

MacRae will help the company advance its existing projects and evaluate new Ontario projects, particularly in the Timmins gold camp, where Matamec has a handful of exploration efforts.

As a professional geologist and mining consultant, MacRae has more than 30 years of experience, having worked with Newmont Mines Ltd., Pamour Porcupine Mines Ltd. and Kinross Gold Corp./Placer Dome Inc...
