Junior miner recognized for aboriginal commitment.

Northern Superior Resources, a Sudbury-based junior miner, was recognized by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business for its commitment to building sustainable business relations with First Nations.

The company has attained Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Committed status from the national not-for-profit organization.

"Whenever possible, we seek out Aboriginal partnerships and new ways to collaborate with Aboriginal communities," said company president and CEO Torn Morris in a Sept. 23 release.

PAR is certification program confirming corporate performance in Aboriginal relations.
