Motorists are lucky they weren't charged with endangering emergency services workers, Headlingley RCMP Cpl. Larry Dalman said. The only reason they aren't facing charges is police couldn't catch them, he said tersely.
There was an eight-car pileup at the lights on St. Anne's Road and the Perimeter just after 7:30 a.m. Cars were stopped at the red light and traffic behind didn't see the lights or the cars in the fog and rear-ended them.
