A large Britain-based corporate investor was in the process of removing many of the Shape Foods board members and replacing them with more experienced individuals when the company was placed into voluntary receivership. According to emails obtained by the Sun, Comis and his lawyer were able to cobble together the deposit on time, but when they requested information on how to make the deposit, they were informed that the firm had gone with another bid.
