The joke's on us. Because while TV executives might give lip service to reducing the Leafs' exposure to an innocent nation, the numbers scream otherwise. The Leafs have drawn a solid 1.7-million average viewers per game on their first three HNIC appearances against Washington, the Rangers and Pittsburgh.Just save us the empty talk about "variety" and air time "based on performance."
