The joke's on us. Because while TV executives might give lip service to reducing the Leafs' exposure to an innocent nation, the numbers scream otherwise. The Leafs have drawn a solid 1.7-million average viewers per game on their first three HNIC appearances against Washington, the Rangers and Pittsburgh.

Just save us the empty talk about "variety" and air time "based on performance." Dude, if performance was a criteria then the majority of Canadians under 30 wouldn't be able to pick a Leafs jersey out of a freaking line-up.
