Northern Credit Union grows its network.

The members of Northern Credit Union and Saugeen Community Credit Union : have voted to merge their organizations. Starting Sept. 1, Saugeen will fall under the Northern umbrella with $1 billion in assets and a combined membership of more than 60,000 with 30 branches across Ontario.

A June 25 Northern news release said operations will continue unchanged through the summer of next year when a single operating model will be established.
