"The normal conversations are taking place as the deadline approaches... circling back on some old discussions and a few new things that always spring up," Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo said Wednesday via e-mail. "There is certainly nothing imminent at this time, and in all likelihood we will stay put."

"I haven't really thought about the trade deadline; I've just thought about trying to help this team in the second half of the season," he told reporters earlier in the week. "My mindset is on this team."

"I think Bryan and Sam (Mitchell) did a good job of constructing this team. They looked at guys who had great character first, and then the talent was a close second, and we've got 15 guys... we play for each other, we're selfless, we enjoy being around each other, we enjoy doing stuff off the court together," [Darrick Martin] said. "That's a rare thing in the NBA; you just don't find it."
