A Manitoba winter brings exciting and interesting ways to experience our natural areas. Come and enjoy the season at Birds Hill Park's Cross-Country Ski Event on Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This fun-filled day offers something for the whole family. Activities include cross country skiing and waxing clinics presented by Mountain Equipment Co-op, smoosh ski contests, sleigh rides, trail treats, quinzhee building and more. Meet Smokey Bear and enter to win great prizes. Remember to dress warmly as this is a winter event. A park pass is required for all vehicles.
