"As editor of the Free Press, [Bob Cox] demonstrated an impressive level of leadership skills and a real appreciation of the evolution taking place in the newspaper industry today," Stern said. "Bob's knowledge and approach should allow us to further benefit from the enormous talent pool that exists at the Winnipeg Free Press."
